Ecoveganism is a convivial relationship between a vegan human and his or her life supporting environment.
Our environment allows us to grow. In return we should enhance it in a sustainable manner.

With great enthusiasm, I make here available an interesting document that I made about Vegan nutrition and diet.
Personnaly, I feel I've never eaten so well; it has now been more than a decade!

This summer, a great Couchsurfing Collective was held in Montreal, Quebec. People came from all over the world to share and participate in the growth of an incredible project. The Collective stayed in an appartment of St-Denis street near of Rosemont : a few blocks from our own registered office!

On June 8th, Mylene, Jean-Marie, Antoine, Marie-Eve, her cousin, as well as the grandparents of Vickie and Yan, went to the Phenix Awards night for nature and environment : The Earth Being was finalist in the "Youth Project" category , i.e. for projects having been created by people younger than 25 years old. The experience was very pleasant. Many interesting people were there, of which Luc Parlavecchio, Benoit Klein, Jerome Normand and Laurence Saint-Denis who took part in the National Action 2006 of ENvironnement JEUnesse! Nice surprise! Unfortunately, The Earth Being didn't win. However, all the finalist projects were extremely interesting, so we can only be happy for the winners. The winning project in the youth category was one of car modification to use electric power - theses cars are used in delivery businesses. The company is called "Alternativ". It thus received an amout of 2500$ .. It should be said that this project is recognized by the media and has already received several awards.

As previously announced, The Earth Being was involved in the Ecofest, which was held on the weekend of April 29th-30th 2006. The organization was leader of the food committee for the event. Here thus a short assessment of the experience...

Several members The Earth Being took part throughout the week in the search and gathering of food (bread, fruit and vegetables) in containers and shops in several strategic points of the city to prepare enough food for an estimated thousand (1000) people!!

The english language, a money-making ressource

Nowadays, english has become the most widely used second language in the world. During my travels through many countries in different continents, I noticed that many people were interested in learning the american language. To my question "why", almost all of them had to answer that it wasn't because they like to learn about occidental culture, it wasn't also because they are keen of linguistics but only because they could use it to earn more money and make a living. We can easily understand this phenomenon when we look at the TV programs : everything is beautiful, perfect, majestic. This "comfort to attain" wouldn't even be imaginable for these distant people without media... Quikly, means to increase hapiness begin to lack and it seems only money and material can raise our quality of life.
